The Details
Occupation: Mechanic & Hunter

Housing Situation: The Casaluna Apartments

Special Abilities, Talents, etc.: As a hunter, Alex is skilled in many weapons and hand to hand combat. He also has an extensive knowledge of the supernatural. As a mechanic, he knows his way around a car. He can find the problem and fix it in no time flat.

Likes: Rain, lightning, junk food, classic cars, music, movies, video games, his restored 65 Mustang

Dislikes: Rude people, people who think they know everything when they don't, cats, clowns

Quirks: Stares off into space when he's thinking too much, bites his nails for no good reason

Appearance: 5'10, 150lbs, brown eyes, brown hair (sometimes he keeps it short and sometimes it's a bit longer), no tattoos, no piercings, plenty of scars from fighting the things that go bump in the night. The most notable scar is the claw marks that start at the top of his left hip and stop right under his belly button.

Personality: Alex isn’t the easiest person to know. And he likes it that way. When he does get to know people he will make sure to keep them at arms length. Mostly he’s just afraid that if he let too many people in then they could be targeted. He already lost a few friends because of the attack and he’s not sure if he could go through that again.

He is somebody that can be trusted. Got a secret? He’ll keep it until his last dying breath. Unless that secret is something that could get people hurt, then he would have no problem telling the right people about it. Because all he really wants to do is protect people. In his mind, nobody else deserves to go through what he and his friends had gone through.

He is sarcastic. He also doesn’t like the whole dating scene very much. He’s had some relationships, but they didn’t work out, so he’s decided that one night stands and casual sex is all that he really needs in his life. Relationships be damned.

Heaven, Hell or No Man's Land? Heaven

Background: Until the age of five, Alex had lived in New York. His parents had gotten tired of the hustle and bustle of the New York City life and that was how they ended up in Hurricane Cove, Florida.

His life was pretty much normal. Sure, he heard people talking about how strange things happened around the city, but he never really took what adults had to say to heart. Even the friends he had would repeat what they heard from the parents, but mostly they just laughed at anything that was said and moved on with their games or whatever they were doing at the time.

It wasn’t until his sophomore year of high school when things changed. Alex and two of his really good friends had been walking home one night when something attacked them. The thing killed his friends and it almost killed him, but a hunter had stepped in in time and saved his life. He spent a week in the hospital and then another week at home before he went back to school.

He wasn’t the same anymore. He went from being talkative and nice to anyone and everyone to quiet and angry. He was telling teachers off or getting into fights with other students. The girlfriend he had then broke up with him since she couldn’t handle the way he was acting anymore. His parents ended up putting him into home school, thinking that it might be best for him. And it was. They sent him to therapy too. He found it stupid, but he really had no choice in the matter.

The hunter that had saved him had approached him one day. Unknown to Alex, the hunter had been keeping an eye on him. They knew what Alex was going through. They went through something similar and now they wanted to teach Alex everything they knew. There was no hesitation. Alex jumped at the hunter’s offer.

The hunter taught Alex how to fight, use weapons, and taught him everything that they knew about the supernatural. Training helped him a lot more than therapy, which was when he told his parents he wasn’t going anymore. They didn’t like that, but they made a deal, if he acted up again, he would go back. The training wasn’t the only thing keeping Alex sane. Helping his dad restore an old Mustang helped keep his mind busy as well. As long as he kept busy, the less he would think about that night.

The rest of high school was pretty normal. He even ended up with a boyfriend during the end of his junior year. It lasted until it was time for said boyfriend to go off to collage. Alex thought about leaving Hurricane Cove, but when he tried to leave it felt like something was tugging him back, so he stuck around. He got a job at the auto shop as a mechanic. He moved out of his parents’ house and got an apartment when he had enough money to do so.

Most of his time is either consumed by work or hunting the things that go bump in the night, because as long as he’s stuck in Hurricane Cove, nobody should have to go through what he went through.
